Penne Pasta with Sharp Cheddar Cream Sauce

- 4 cups Penne pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 ½ tbsp Butter
- 1 ½ tbsp Flour
- 3 cups Milk
- 1 ½ cups Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ⅛ tsp Cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Stir in the milk and slowly heat for about 2 minutes.
- Wisk in the cheese.
- Add the Worcestershire and cayenne pepper.
- Keep at a low simmer for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Toss with the pasta and serve warm.
Think of this as a fancy macaroni and cheese.
