White Clam Sauce with Linguine

Ingredients:

  • ½ pound Linguine
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ tsp Parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ¼ cup White wine
  • 1 cup Clam juice (bottled)
  • ¾ cup Clams, minced (canned)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta, drain, rinse, and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and saute for one minute.
  4. Add the parsley, oregano, wine, and clam juice.
  5. Bring to low simmer.
  6. Add the clams and cooked pasta to the mix.
  7. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve warm.

A simplified version of a classic Italian dish.
